Letters

Andrea and Jo:

Hi there, wanted to send you an update on Lucy with some photos. She is doing great and looking even more beautiful every day. We get many many compliments when we take her out. Her coat and features are great.

She loves the trash - but plays so well with Nolan and the kids in the neighborhood. My wife, who is not a dog person, has been completely converted by Lucy's warm, loving loyalty.

I do have a favor. Our friends are wanting to get a lab this spring or summer, but are also looking at a yellow lab. I gave them your and Jo Morris information for chocolate labs but they are still debating.

Thanks, Chris Polly Nolan and Lucy

Hi Andrea-

I just thought I would send you a few of the many pictures we took on Sunday (almost as bad as your first child).  The pups had a busy day visiting their new family and were exhausted by the end of the day.  Last
night they never made a peep from the time we put them in their crate at around 9 until 5 this morning.

We finally decided on names, Creasy and Bo.

Talk to you later.

Michelle & Ryan

Hi - Thought  you might like to see a couple of new pics taken today. One is with his favorite pull toy - he freaks out when we get it down, he loves to play tug o war.  The other one in the snow is to show you the huge goobers he can make...yes the long white string is goober, not snow!

Hope all is well, talk to you soon
Mike, Laura, Bailey and of course Briess!

It has been awhile since we sent any photos of Linus.  He is an awesome dog.  At his last visit to the vet about 1-½ months ago, he weighed 91 pounds and is still growing.  He is in perfect health.

We tolerated his eating our couch, but when he went for the kitchen floor, we had to crate him again.  As you know, since he was housebroken so early, we naively thought he would be okay to not be crated.  Also, he had outgrown his original crate and well, what the hell, he’ll be fine not crated!!!  Oh, how wrong we were.  We got him a new, larger crate and he’s been so good.  I’m sure every professional dog person knows this, but we didn’t realize that he needed his own place (even though he has the run of the house) to turn to.  He’s had his new crate for about four months and his attacking anything stuffed has stopped.  Just recently, we’ve been able to leave home with his door open and he’s fine.  We come home to a non-destroyed home and you can tell he’s been sleeping in the crate.

He is a wonderful dog and very curious.  We couldn’t have picked a more loving dog.  Can not say enough good things about him.

Take care,

Kim & Doug

Bella is doing well...  She's getting better at not whining so much at night, learning her routine, and not peeing on the carpet as much.  She's such a cutie!  She's very independent, sassy, and full of personality.  We took her for her first public walk down the TART yesterday, and she was very precocious.  If people did not stop to pet her, she'd watch them walk away, sit down, bark at them, then start to follow them.  As if she were saying, "Um, excuse me!  Do you not see how adorable I am?"  She's a funny girl...

We have an appointment to meet Dr. Burke on Tuesday.  Wish us luck!

Take care,
Sara and Bryan

Andrea here is a picture of Linus in the toy room

His favorite place in the house. He woke me up at 2:00 to go out and pee. Thank you so much for what I feel is the best $800 spent

He's a real joy. I'll send more pictures later.

Thanks again,

Doug Steele

Hello there!

They are adorable, we are really interested in getting another one and when we do it will only be from one of your litters, our vet hasn't seen such a great looking, well mannered choco lab as Princess, she's perfect and we just adore her and of course she adores us, she is so spoiled. But here is my cell # 517 673-9774. and it would be an honor to have you use any thing you like in regards to princess and us on your web page.  I will never own any other type of dog, other that a choc lab and only the ones you breed, we get so many compliments on her.  When did you say your next litter was due? Anyway give me a call if my phone is off leave a message I work 3 days a week 8-8 2 days 8-5 and every other sat 10-2 but I will get right back in touch as soon as I get your message.  Again thank you for Princess  I don't know what I would do without her, Dave has been working out of town a lot lately and she's great company and she has not once ever made a mess in the house or chewed anything up. Thank God!

Be in touch

Tammy

Andrea,

Zoey has matured into quite the hunter/retriever!  We regularly hunt pheasant, ducks, geese, well just about all game birds.  We will be gong to South Dakota next month for some pheasants.  I am very pleased with her.  We constantly get comments on what a beautiful dog she is.  I think that she knows this just by the way she acts.  Donna thinks I spoil her and maybe she is right.

I have given your name to a couple of people who were looking for dogs.  I know at least one of these has already set something up.

Hope all is well and thanks for the help with the paperwork.
